If you're new to Clash of Clans, the beginner-friendly interface will come as a welcome design. As soon it launches, the app becomes its own teacher. Learn the ropes as you play with handy on-screen helpers. When a new icon appears, tap on it to launch a new window. On the main page, you can access your in-game currency, messages and updates. During play, controlling your heroes is as simple as tapping the screen and dragging your finger across your display.

Clash of Clans works with most smartphones and tablet devices. Gameplay is fairly simple, so it won't demand too much from your onboard memory. However, data and battery demands are a different matter entirely. Connected via a cellular network? Make sure you're on an unlimited data plan. Running low on battery? It might be best to wait until you're back home near a charger before launching this app.
